SHEIKH EL DIN ("Sheikh") joins Circle Double L Stables! We
purchased this beautiful stallion in 1998, and our announcement brochure
says it all:
"SHEIKH" has indeed
continued the bloodline we have so loved. In the short time he has been
with us, he has produced four beautiful offspring. We have a practice
of breeding one year and waiting one year before breeding again. We
are then able to enjoy the youngsters and provide the all-important
ground training and people bonding so important to development and later
relationships.
We chose to breed him internally,
with only one exception that resulted in a beautiful bay colt for Ms.
Sheila Butz of Saskatchewan.
Circle Double L Stables has
been pleased and proud to welcome the following Sheikh foals:
BAI BARS EL DIN ("Bai
Bars") was our very first "SHEIKH" foal, and he proved
that our imported stallion was going to be a success for us. "Bai
Bars" has the beautiful, sculpted head and refinement of his father
- an excellent show prospect . In addition, he has a very accepting,
calm personality that makes him a surefire family horse. This gelding
is now owned by a young girl who comes to Circle Double L to ride and love him.

DREAM ON EL DIN ("Dream
On") is "SHEIKH'S" first filly at Circle Double L Stables.
She is everything we wanted in a filly - and more. Classic head, long,
lean neck, silken, full mane and tail - this chestnut filly is an exceptional
example of her Egyptian legacy. She has the superior intelligence of the
Arabian breed.
"Dream On" impressed
many with her upright confirmation and straight leg confirmation as
a young foal.

Dream on El Din has gone on to be a super show horse. In her first two shows in Regina, Saskatchewan in 2003 she had six first-place ribbons. As you can see from her picture she is a beauty. She will be going back to her second show season this year. We expect that she will do even better.
